Department of Accounting and auditing functions at the faculty "Economics and Environmental Management" of separated department of the National Agricultural University of Ukraine "Berezhany Agrotechnical Institute" and accumulates the high scientific and pedagogical potential. It is training the students of the next educational and qualification levels: "Bachelor" (from 1992), "Specialist" (from 2000) and "Master" (from 2015) in the direction of "Accounting and Auditing".

The strategic goal of the department is to meet the growing demand of Ukrainian society for preparation highly qualified specialists in accounting and finance sphere, which have the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of their effective use in the formation and use of knowledge and resources for providing the tasks and functions undertaken by public authorities and local government.

The mission of the department is to increase and strengthen the educational and professional potential through high quality training competitive graduates in the job market - accountants for companies, organizations and institutions of different ownership.

Department of Accounting and Auditing was founded in 2001. Its foundation was the Department of Accounting and Auditing, Finance and Credit.

Throughout its existence, the Department of Accounting and Auditing was and is highly effective and structural department of National Agricultural University of Ukraine "Berezhany Agrotechnical Institute» whose development is rapid both in the direction of scientific and educational work.

Head of the department in different times were Candidate of Economy Sciences, Docent Polovynko I.K., Pasemnyk O.H., Professor Kostyrko I.H., Doctor of Economy Science, professor Zhybak M.M,  Candidate of Economy Sciences, Docent Herchanivska S.V.Today the department is headed by Candidate of Economic Sciences (specialty 08.00.09 - accounting, analysis and audit), associate Docent – Bodnar Orysia Volodymyrivna. Currently, scientific and pedagogical staff consists of 8 people, including 1 – Doctor of Sciences, 4 – Candidates of Sciences, 3 - Senior teachers.

Topics of research

Research work is carried out on "Study of regional peculiarities of accounting, analysis and audit in the conditions of international economic integration" (state registration №0115U00336).

The purpose of this research is the justification of theoretical principles and development of practical approaches for creation a system of accounting and analytical support of enterprises activity management in Ukraine in terms of international economic integration, to maximize financial power and significance of domestic economic entities in the world economy. Research and teaching staff of the Department of Accounting and Auditing pay considerable attention to fundamental and applied research. An important aspect of department scientific activity is cooperation with leading domestic, foreign centers and educational institutions. Each member of the department of Accounting and Auditing do scientific work on initiatives themes:

Material and technical base

Teaching process on a specialty "Accounting and Auditing" is provide with classrooms and laboratories equipped with modern computers. Computer configuration provides the use of the newest achievements in the software. All workstations and servers are combined using a network hub with 16 ports in high-speed network (100 Mb / s), which allows quite quickly and efficiently exchange information and data between computers and network server. Available rooms in institute - lecture halls, lecture rooms for seminars and practical lessons provided with public media technology and PCs that are connected to the «Internet». There are also specialized cabinets of accounting and auditing using the licensed program 1C Accounting 8.2.

In order to gain practical training and their subsequent employment at the department is actively working with companies: JSC "Privatbank", JSC "UkrSibbank" POP "Urmanske" PE "Ahrospetshosp Zhovnivka" and others.

In order to intensify specialist practical training and their subsequent employment, there is an active cooperation with next companies: ВАТ (open joint-stock company ) "Privatbank", ВАТ (open joint-stock company )  "UkrSibbank", ПОП (private rental company)"Urmanske", ПП (private company) "Ahrospetshosp Zhovnivka" and others.
