  Faculty of Economics and Environmental Sciences is a scientific, educational, cultural and educational division of the Institute, created in 1993. Faculty provides training for full-time and distance learning specialists:

EQL "Bachelor" in the areas of:

• 6.030509 "Accounting and Auditing";
• 6.030504 " Business Economics";
• 6.040106 "Ecology, Environmental Protection and Balanced Nature Management."

EQL "Specialist" in the fields:

• 7.03050901 "Accounting and Auditing";
• 7.03050401 "Business Economics" (by the types of economic activity).

EQL "Master" in the field:

• 8.03050901 "Accounting and Auditing";
• 8.03050401"Business Economics" (by the types of economic activity).

  An educational process on the faculty is aimed on the effective individual training of highly qualified specialists, able to solve modern industrial and scientific tasks in economics, accounting and auditing, environmental monitoring for ecosafety activities in the agricultural and environmental sectors.

  The educational process on the faculty is provided by three doctors of sciences, professors, 25 candidates of sciences, associate professors, 10 senior lecturers and 2 assistants.

  There are 16 classrooms and laboratories on the faculty. For the best perception of the educational material, practical and laboratory lessons are conducted in the specially equipped classrooms. There are computer classes provided for students - Aud. 203, 204 and 206, 9 lecture audiences with multimedia teaching aids, educationally-scientific laboratory "Information technologies in accounting with a certified center" 1C - Enterprise 8.2 "with training using additional program that envesigates in-depth study of modern technologies of accounting, there is also the laboratory of ecology, biology and chemistry.

  Faculty graduates with diplomas of specialists receive a certificate of assigning the following workers' occupations: computer operator, laboratory assistant of chemical analysis, manager of small businesses.

  Faculty unites in its own educational and information space four departments: business economics; accounting and auditing; humanitarian disciplines; ecology, environmental protection and balanced nature management, the employees of which carry out the scientific researches in the following areas:

• the study of regional peculiarities of accounting, analysis and audit in the face of international economic integration;
• theoretically-methodical and organizationally-economical assessment of further development of agriculture and rural areas of the region;
• social and cultural development of Galicia of the second half of the 19-20 century; environmental audit of agricultural products;
•  ecotoxicological assessment of agricultural areas.

  The students of the faculty are involved in the scientific researches. There is a large selection of scientific and educational literature for them. It has become a tradition to conduct annually students’ scientific conferences, negotiating tables, scientific groups, various contests, intellectual games.

  The faculty cooperates with leading agricultural and other enterprises. It has become a tradition to hold career days, job fairs, which bring together potential employers and students.
