1959

Berezhany technical collage of agriculture was founded according to the order of the Ministry of Agriculture of USSR.

1966

Ministry of Agriculture of USSR renamed Berezhany technical collage of agriculture mechanization into Berezhany technical collage of agriculture mechanization and electrification.

1992

By the common decision of the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Ukraine Berezhany technical collage of agriculture mechanization and electrification was reorganized in Berezhany agrotechnical college – higher institution with II level of accreditation with the right of training junior specialists and bachelors.

1997

Berezhany Agricultural College became a member of the National Agrarian University.

2000

According to the rector’s order of the National Agrarian University, Agrotechnical Institute was established on the basis of Berezhany Agrotechnical College. Pavliskii Vasyl Mykhailovych, the Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor, Honored Machine Builder of Ukraine, member of Ukrainian Academies of Economic Cybernetics and Tribology was appointed as the rector of the institute.

2001

Agrotechnical Institute as a department of the National Agrarian University was created by the regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on May 6, number 434. This year, the accreditation of specialties and institute was conducted by the third level accreditation and appropriate certificates were given.

2006

Institute was reorganized into Separated structural subdivision of NAU «Berezhany Agrotechnical Institute»

2008

The institute became separated subdivision of the National university of life and environmental sciences of Ukraine (regulation of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine № 945 dated 30.10.2008).

The institute has 3 departments, where more than 2,000 students, including distance education are studying. 11 departments are operating, which are centers of educational, methodical and scientific work, the department of humanities, education and student affairs, department of study by correspondence, ICT and telecommunication systems, informational and publishing center "Innovation" and student sport club "Sokol ".
